A Russian attack destroyed the Kharkiv Sports Palace, the ninth hockey arena lost in the war. Since the war began, russians have destroyed ice rinks in Luhansk, Sievierodonetsk, Donetsk, Druzhkivka, Mariupol, Kherson, and three in Kharkiv. The rink in Melitopol is occupied, and the one in Kramatorsk is in a frontline zone.

The first youth scouting event in Ukraine was held as part of the Hockey Dreams Development Camps. About 60 kids underwent testing using the VALD SmartSpeed System, which helps coaches assess athletes' physical abilities based on standardized criteria.

The Hockey Dreams Development Camps were held in Kyiv, where around 160 kids participated in the free training camp. The head coach was our big friend from Canada, Nicholas Phelan. The coaching team included Oleksandr Ponomar, Danylo Ihnatiev, Mykyta Heria, and Oleksandr Fedorov.
